Unlike other consultants in our field, we can provide you with a complete total package. If your program necessitates, we will supply solutions to all your design and technical requirements. The many choices in our broad menu extend from initial design concepts to storyboards or 1st patterns with meticulous specifications to final graded patterns. We also offer trim or fabric yields and yardages as well as production-ready markers. We require no minimums; we will produce your original sample with sewing instructions, your photo sample, or your salesmen and production duplicates.
As an extra service we can help you launch your line by manufacturing your first small production lot. Product Development Process
Whether you are a newbie designer or an established brand, our Product Development Team can guide you every step of the way. Our goal is to simplify this very technical and multi-part process in six development stages.
Consulting & Project Management
We are available every step of the way to help make your dream a reality. From intial concept drawings all the way to managing your project for production, you can be sure that we are here to guide you through the entire process.
Technical Design & First Pattern
This is where the technical details of your product are created. We build a "blueprint" of your product by drafting a 1st Pattern in a sample size and record all the technical specifications and components needed for constructing your first Prototype.
Sample Sewing & Prototypes
Your product now becomes an actual 3D Sample. The developed 1st Pattern will be used to cut your fabric and the specifications recorded will allow the cut fabric to be sewn into a working Sample or Prototype.
Fittings & Iterations
Your Sample or Prototype will need to be perfected. After your 1st Sample is fitted or tested there will likely be changes that will need to be made. Your techpack (blueprints) are continuely updated and more sampling will follow until your final prototype is approved.
Once Prototype approval is made, your pattern is then converted to a digital format. At this point your digitized pattern can now be graded to other sizes, and then all the pattern pieces in each size can be layed out for the best fabric yield for a Cutting Marker.
Pre-Production & Production
In Pre-production, size samples are made to test the fit for your customer. The Bill of Materials is updated and all components that are required for your product are ordered. Coordination with other service providers are finalized at this stage. Production can begin once all items are in-house.
*All Product Development Services are charged hourly. A rough estimate will be provided to you for each service before starting.
